I haven't changed the original battery yet in the most used sensor (i.e. covering my front door) <br /> <br />I can tell you from personal experience that each one can be configured to simultaneously work with at least two Skylink SC-1000 control panels. <br /> <br /> <br />The Bad: <br /> <br />As with all battery operated equipment, even if it works fine you should really open the battery compartment & check for corrosion every quarter or at least half yearly. I installed about a year ago. had only two false alarms,not bad. very good motion sensors and self monitoring. dont have to pay 30 buck a month for some company to call you and tell you the alarm is going off. this system will call you and you can have it call several people. I bought this extra motion detector to instal in the basement..you can actually ad a lot of options to this system. worth everypenny and you get piece of mind.
